This screenprint of the Laois landscape was printed in May 2010 and consists of 10 layers, and is printed in a Limited Edition of 12 prints.
The print depicts the view from the Rock of Dunamaise looking Westwards in the direction of the town of Portlaoise.

This print has been selected for inclusion in 1st Open International Contemporary Print Competition in SW Cornwall, UK. - 2010. www.A4Printmakers.com
The print was also selected by International Print Center New York (IPCNY) for their New Prints 2011/Summer show.

About Original Prints

An original print is a work of art created by hand and printed by hand, either by the artist, from a plate, block, stone, or stencil that has been hand created by the artist for the sole purpose of producing the desired image.
Each of the prints is in a Limited Edition (A print run of a set length that is not exceeded or reprinted).
Each print is signed and numbered by Aidan Flanagan the artist to guarantee its quality, and that the edition is limited to the declared number of prints.
The Limited Edition for each print varies. In general, the larger size prints are in smaller Editions. Details regarding Edition size and number of layers accompanies each print.
By contrast, a reproduction print is a copy of an existing artwork. I do not produce reproduction prints.
