Winter Sunrise, Newgrange

This print depicts the winter sunrise at Newgrange in the Bru Na Boinne Megalithic Tomb Cemetry in Co Meath. Many people gather around the Newgrange monument at the Winter Solstice to view the sunrise. A privilaged few get to see the view from within the Newgrange chamber and passage.
This Carborundum/Drypoint print is in an edition of 20, and is printed on Fabriano paper using Akua Intaglio inks.

About Original Prints
