Deserted Village on Achill Island

"Deserted Village on Achill Island" is a screenprint with watercolour chine colle. The image depicts deserted famine village on the side of Slievemor, on the picturesque Achill Island on the West Coast of Ireland. The island has always been a favourite with visual artists (including the famous Paul Henry) due to its spectacular scenery. No matter where you turn, there is a beautiful view to behold.
I have created many prints and watercolours as a result of my visits to Achill.

About Original Prints

An original print is a work of art created by hand and printed by hand, either by the artist, from a plate, block, stone, or stencil that has been hand created by the artist for the sole purpose of producing the desired image.

By contrast, a reproduction print is a copy of an existing artwork. I do not produce reproduction prints.
