The Beautiful Trees -22

"The Beautiful Trees" - 22 is from a new collection of monoprints, created from etching (photopolymer Intaglio, and carborundum, chine colle and drypoint) plates which measure 7cm x 7cm. This print depicts four images, which are subsequently hand-painted in watercolours. The monoprints are printed on Fabriano paper and subsequently overprinted using the Japanese suminagashi marbling technique bringing the image size to 21cm x 21cm.

About Original Prints

An original print is a work of art created by hand and printed by hand, either by the artist, from a plate, block, stone, or stencil that has been hand created by the artist for the sole purpose of producing the desired image.
Each of the prints is in a Limited Edition (A print run of a set length that is not exceeded or reprinted).
Each print is signed and numbered by Aidan Flanagan the artist to guarantee its quality, and that the edition is limited to the declared number of prints.
The Limited Edition for each print varies. In general, the larger size prints are in smaller Editions. Details regarding Edition size and number of layers accompanies each print.
By contrast, a reproduction print is a copy of an existing artwork. I do not produce reproduction prints.
