Bolus Loop Walk

"Bolus Loop Walk" is a Variable Edition carborundum and drypoint print with watercolour chine colle background on acid free tissue paper printed onto Fabriano paper. The plate provides a consistent foreground image, whilst the variable watercolour background varies within the edition. No two prints in the edition look the same, hence the variable edition. This is No. 8 of the edition of 20.
The image depicts a view along the Bolus Loop Walk near Ballinskelligs in Co. Kerry, Ireland. I came across this stunning view whilst on an artist residency at the Cill Rialaig Artists Retreat which is located on the side of Bolus peak. What a privilege.

About Original Prints

An original print is a work of art created by hand and printed by hand, either by the artist, from a plate, block, stone, or stencil that has been hand created by the artist for the sole purpose of producing the desired image.
Each of the prints is in a Limited Edition (A print run of a set length that is not exceeded or reprinted).
Each print is signed and numbered by Aidan Flanagan the artist to guarantee its quality, and that the edition is limited to the declared number of prints.
The Limited Edition for each print varies. In general, the larger size prints are in smaller Editions. Details regarding Edition size and number of layers accompanies each print.
By contrast, a reproduction print is a copy of an existing artwork. I do not produce reproduction prints.
