glimpse
cloud took the sun away
for a moment
but the white house
soon reappeared
strange the reassurance we take
from slight things
you see concern on my face
and kiss me lightly
you taste of salt and summer

This screenprint of a Co Kerry landscape was printed in Jan 09 and consists of 9 layers, and is printed in a Limited Edition of 5 prints.
The print depicts the early morning shafts of sunlight crossing the Dingle Peninsula. The view is from near Clogher looking North East to the Three Sisters headland. The village of Ballyferriter (not in view) is to the right.
The print was first exhibited at the Eigse Carlow Arts Festival in June 2009.
