This print was selected for the 2nd Biennial International Footprint Competition and Exhibition, (20 May - 05 Sept 2010) at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking at Norwalk, Connecticut, USA.
This screenprint of a Co. Mayo landscape was printed in Mar 2010, and consists of 11 layers, and is printed in a Limited Edition of 10 prints.
The view is of the Deserted Village which lies at the southern base of Slievemor in Achill Island, off the West Coast of Ireland. The image size is 20 x 20cm.

About Original Prints

An original print is a work of art created by hand and printed by hand, either by the artist, from a plate, block, stone, or stencil that has been hand created by the artist for the sole purpose of producing the desired image.

By contrast, a reproduction print is a copy of an existing artwork. I do not produce reproduction prints.
